We all know Kris Aquino dresses to the nines when it comes to special events. I mean, she doesn’t have an expansive shoe collection, numerous Birkins and Louis Vuitton bags for nothing. During the Grand Media Launch of I Love You, Hater, she shared a quick rundown of her designer OOTD and it’ll make your jaw drop.
Kris got candid when she said that she had to look her best since this movie is her official comeback to ABS-CBN. “Gumastos ako for this, kasi kung aapak ka naman at babalik sa ABS-CBN, make sure na ang suot mo, alam nila.” (I spent money for this because if you were to come back to ABS-CBN, make sure that your outfit is something people would know.) She also jokingly called out local website PEP for reporting on price tags of celebrity fashion.
In case you were wondering, here’s what Kris wore: The first was a pair of Roland Mouret Ailish sequined mesh wide-leg pants. According to Kris, it’s from the “limited-edition 20th anniversary” collection. It retails for $1,976 ($1,186 right now because it’s on sale!) on Net-a-Porter.
Next was a Balmain blazer with a single button on the front. It’s made from a blend of black virgi wool and cotton, and it’s fitted. You can find this piece on Farfetch and it costs $2,430.
Kris’ shoes were suede platform sandals from Alaïa. Consigned Designs have retailed them at $395.
For her bling, Kris noted that you can buy “a condo, three-bedroom, sa Rockwell.” PEP reported that the bracelets and a watch were from Cartier. The total price for them is P6.683 million. While the earrings and rings she wore had diamonds in them and are estimated to be in the millions range as well.
PEP, citing a real estate agent, noted that a unit in Rockwell Center costs around P30 million to P70 million. Those diamonds must really cost a fortune!
You do the math for all her pieces. But basically, not only can you afford a condo to own, you can even sneak in a luxury car, another house, a Euro trip, and more designer pieces. Whew!
