We think Kelsey Merritt and Dua Lipa’s colorful OOTDs can be worn at Pride March

Our social media feeds yesterday were filled with photos from the Pride March in New York City. People everywhere came together to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community. We also saw the most colorful looks from the participants.

Here in the Philippines, our local march will be happening on June 30 at the Marikina Sports Center. If you’re still looking for an outfit to wear or want a change from the usual rainbow attire, we saw other colorful options inspired by recent celebrity OOTDs. Shop them ASAP before heading to the march.

The multicolored polo

During the NYC Pride March, Kelsey Merritt kept it laidback and wore a rainbow button-up shirt and denim shorts. She also posted a photo while she waved a pride flag. For a top with a similar design, you can cop this one from Forever 21 which looks lightweight and breezy, fitting for when you feel warm while marching.

Dual-purpose one-piece

Singer Dua Lipa was recently chilling by the pool and wearing a colorful knitted one-piece swimsuit with halter straps. This can also be worn with jeans and a jacket when it starts to rain. Missoni Mare has a crochet-knit swimsuit designed with zigzag lines and plunging neckline. The Pride March is about individuality so don’t be afraid to wear something fun and out of your comfort zone.

No need for separates

Fil-Korean model Hye Won Jang also attended the NYC Pride March with Asia’s Next Top Model alum Monika Sta. Maria and Project Runway model Samantha Gomez. Hye Won wore a floral playsuit and paired it with a hot pink jacket. This is a great choice if you don’t want to think about your outfit combos. Plus, it’s still okay to wear summer prints even during rainy days.

Unique prints

While in Amsterdam, Kryz Uy wore a Neon Island polo from their Easy Lover collection. It has a mix of blue, orange, and green hues with geometric shapes. The top is so popular that it’s already sold out. But you can still cop the one below which is light pink with orange, white, and black prints. Wear it on its own or over a plain shirt.

Flowing with the wind

Jessy Mendiola recently wore a light blue dress with pink blossom prints by Chynna Mamawal in Rome. It has a wrap-around detail on the waist and a straight-cut flowy skirt. For something similar, cop this maxi dress with minimalist floral prints that look like they’re drawn with ink.

Shop: Diane von Furstenberg Floral-Print Silk Crepe de Chine Maxi Dress. Available on Net-a-Porter.
