Plastic bags are still in and if it’s done tastefully, we’re not mad at it. Aside from the PVC totes that are available at fast fashion and luxury brands, there are other options as well. Getting with the trend is Chanel. They released a PVC version of their classic 2.0 bag and it’s actually pretty cute. It is made of pastel-colored PVC, lambskin, and silver-tone hardware. It comes in two different colorways. The first being blue, green, and pink. This is the one Eva Chen has been using.
The other version is more vibrant and summer-ready with pink and yellow PVC, and green lambskin details. While walking around Paris for a few days, this was Aimee Song’s choice.
Whichever colorway you prefer, we thought that stuffing this bag with colorful (and useful) items would be a good idea. I mean, if you’re going to put your belongings on display, might as well make them presentable too. So, if you plan on picking up this bag, pick these items to go along with it.
Hermés Merveilles Eau De Toilette
Since the bag is clear, we suggest carrying a small bottle of perfume in a cute bottle. This scent from Hermés comes in a circular bottle with a starry night design. Forever 21 Iridescent Phone Case
To go with the colors of the bag, change up your phone case with this iridescent one. It has a striped design of alternating clear plastic and rainbow-colored lines. A perfect companion for this purse. Available at SM Aura Premier.
Karte Earphone Holder
Instead of just throwing your earphones in your bag or in a pouch, try using this leather holder. This mint color goes well with the bag but it also comes in neutral colors if that’s more your style. This also comes as a set of two so you can use one for your earphones and the other for your charging wire. Available online.
Honest Junk Guava Strawberry Super Gummies
Regardless of your plans for the day, it’s always a good idea to have a snack in your bag. You can munch on these gummies if you’re stuck in traffic or need a little boost in the middle of the day. And, don’t worry, these are healthy and packed with malunggay and vitamin C. Available online.
Beautyblender Blotterazzi
It’s inevitable, in the middle of the day, your face is bound to get oily and that’s okay. Instead of carrying blotting sheets in your bag, try out this reusable sponge. Vaseline Lip Therapy Original Mini
We’re all for multi-purpose products like petroleum jelly. In case you didn’t know, Vaseline recently released mini versions that can fit right in your bag. You can use this on your lips if they’re getting chapped or as a quick wet-look highlighter. Available at Rustan’s Supermarkets.
Pure Bliss Fresh Aqua Sanitizer
Always make sure you’re clean and germ-free by keeping hand sanitizer in your bag. This one from Pure Bliss comes in a small 10ml spray bottle so it won’t take up too much space. Aside from sanitizing, it also has a combination of lemon, lavender, and rosemary fragrances. Available on Beauty MNL.
