Solenn Heusaff recently gave an exclusive preview of “Casa #SosBolz,” on her website. While touring the four-year-old house she renovated, she shared some tips on how to make your space feel like home. The all-around media personality and artist revealed she didn’t get an interior decorator this time, because she wanted to do everything on her own. She described her aesthetic as “homey, jungle-y Havana chic.” Watch the tour below.

Abaca rug
Although not yet present during the time of the tour, Solenn revealed she was planning on putting an abaca rug especially made to complete the look of their living area. You can also get one from Weave Manila. They take pride in creating quality handmade abaca carpets and rugs crafted from Bicol which can easily be customized according to your needs. Available on their website.
Lighting fixture
The It girl shared, “Another way to spice up a room is by using a statement piece chandelier.” For her kitchen, she used copper and stone light fixtures to complement the space. Like her, you can shop at Home Cartel. Opt for the Theo concrete in green, which puts a fresh take on an industrial look. Available online.
Indoor plants
Solenn stressed how important greenery is. “A home becomes a home when you put life into it, and for me, life is plants. The plants bring everything together.” (She even has one inside her shower) For her plant needs, she goes to Nest Plant Studio, which offers a variety of indoor plants and chic planters like the Sansevieria. Available online
Outdoor Seating
For SosBolz, the outdoor area is important because it’s where they keep Patato, their beloved pet tortoise (who’s gonna have a home of his own soon—complete with a pool and a bedroom!). She dressed up the space with fake turf and a seating area perfect for when they wanna hang out and enjoy Patato’s company. You can enjoy your outdoor space too, with the All Weather Wicker Chair from West Elm. Available at Estancia Mall
Accent wall
Like Solenn, you can give life to areas not often used through an accent wall. She chose a wallpaper with a tropical pattern that’s in keeping with her aesthetic. She got hers from Studio 11 Fabrics and Wallpapers, which offers multiple geometric, tropical, and other fun designs you can choose from. This one in particular has a lighter pattern, with pastel accents. Available at MG Building, Legaspi Village, Makati City
