LOOK: Amazing artist from Cavite transforms into our favorite Disney characters

Meet 21-year-old artist from Cavite JM Mirabel, whose makeup transformations give Paolo Ballesteros a run for his money. While Paolo imitates celebrities, JM gets inspiration from Disney princes and princesses.

JM is a portrait artist who decided to translate his skill through makeup. In an interview with GMA News, the artist shared, “Before kasi, parang gumagawa ako ng mga portrait. Ngayon parang na-apply ko siya sa mukha, sa sarili ko, parang ‘yong face ko naman ginawa kong canvas” (Before, I used to create portraits. Now, I apply it to my face; I use my face as the canvas)

JM completes the look with convincing costumes which he source himself, using everyday items found at home. For example, he used a curtain to improvise for Cinderella’s iconic blue dress, a placemat for the dress and Christmas decorations as a necklace to complete the look of Pocahontas, while reused boxing gloves proved a perfect substitute to Aladdin’s hat.

He stressed how resourcefulness plays a big role in the overall character transformation success. Never akong gumastos pagdating sa costume so kailangan ‘yong creativity mo dapat resourceful ka tsaka dapat tingnan mo ‘yong loob ng bahay niyo  kung ano ‘yong mga puwedeng galawin, pakialaman(I never spend money for the costume, so creativity is necessary. You need to be resourceful and look for things inside your home; look for anything which can be used or altered).

Netizens can’t help but give praise and attention to his incredible makeup transformations.

Here he is before the transformation:

Now here he is as our favorite Disney characters:
