Here’s how you can build the best hair care routine

Do you care about your hair? Admittedly, there are times when it’s an afterthought. We’re running late for a meeting and we end up just going for a tight ponytail. We forget about the importance of heat damage and its effects long term. We don’t use enough sun protection or none at all. Eventually, we end up in a place where our locks are just unruly that it’s almost too late.

It’s odd that we can be like this with our own hair when our skincare can be a full-on production. There’s your 10-step K-beauty routine, along with other rituals that involve jade rollers and Kojic sponges. Don’t get me started on the procedures like microblading and bee sting facials. So don’t you think it’s time to be conscious about our hair too? It doesn’t just deserve attention on salon day or when we’re mulling over a new color treatment, if not just a new ‘do. Every day, just like our skin, our hair needs a routine to stay healthy and to look good all the time.

If you agree to at least one thing that you’ve just read, then we got good news. Here’s a little guide on how to make a simple haircare routine with a few products and tricks that you can incorporate in your daily ritual.

#1 Be gentle

Hair starts with a healthy scalp. When applying your shampoo, don’t rub it in or scratch aggressively. Massage it with the right pressure and use your finger tips instead of your nails to run the product through your roots to your scalp. Otherwise, you’ll be creating small scratches and promoting dandruff. Oops, no thanks!

#2 Stick to the power of three

In the shower, it should never be a wash-and-go situation. Moringa-O2  is here with a three-step system that will take care of your hair. Twice a week, your hair needs some pre-game. Yes, something to help it out before you go in with the shampoo. This is the Herbal Hair, Scalp, and Skin Therapy Oil. Massage it through your hair and scalp, wrap your hair in a shower cap, and let it sit there for 30 minutes.

After this, step two is all about the  Moringa-O2  Herbal Anti-Frizz Shampoo and Conditioner. You will love this if you’re into herbal solutions as they are made with malunggay, olive oil, sunflower oil, and argan oil. Plus it has a triple layered care (TLC) effect which provides extra nourishing, smoothening, and frizz protection. Throw in the UV protection and you’ve got hair that’s healthy because it’s moisturized and problem-free.

Last in the main part of your hair routine is the Moringa-O2  Hair Relaxing Serum++ with Argan Oil. After you step out of the shower, apply three to four drops to your hair using your palms. Massage it through your ends and style it accordingly.

#3 Be friends with your hair dryer

If you need to dry your hair fast, you shouldn’t be too hot with your hair dryer. Get one with adjustable settings so you don’t fry your ends. Or you can even take a cue from Kate Middelton’s hairstylist who uses the cold button option to make sure the ‘do stays all day.

#4 Be nice at night

After a long day, let your hair loose if you keep it in a pony or bun. This allows for your natural oils to go down all the way to your ends. You also need to give it a break as too much pulling can cause hair fall. Give it some love with a wide tooth-comb to sort out the tangles without putting too much strain.
