When I do decide to wear makeup, I usually use the products for steps they’re not meant for. I’ve used eyeshadow as highlighter and blush as eyeshadow. Recently, I tried something new to me and applied liquid lipstick as eyeliner.
I love bold colors so I thought this would be a fun way to use my favorite lipsticks on my eyes too. All I had to do was dump some of the product on a flat surface and use an angled brush to line my eyes. Using this technique, you can start off with something simple and fine and build it up if you want. If you’re keeping your look nude and neutral, try this shade. It’s a natural shade with hints of peach. Metallic shades look great on lids and on lips so use this shade for both. Dubai is a mix between copper and chocolate brown, giving it a deep color. This will look good on its own or with eyeshadow. Complement this shade with blues, pinks, and oranges. Available at SM Makati.
Maybelline Superstay Liquid Lipstick Super Impact in Non-Stop Orange
Another bright color you can try is orange. Swipe this on your lids when you need to brighten up your day. It’s long-lasting and doesn’t flake so you don’t have to worry about it in the middle of the day. At the end of the day, use an oil-based makeup remover to get everything off. MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in Young Attitude
If you’re go-to eyeliner shade is black but you want to branch out a little, try this shade. It’s a mix of blue and green but on the darker side of the spectrum. Bring out the color even more with eyeshadow shades in similar colors. Available at Power Plant Mall.
