Getting married? Add these fashion pieces to your bridesmaids’ swag bags

Bachelorette parties are still big among soon-to-be brides. They can be simple and intimate, or all-out extravaganzas to celebrate the last days of singlehood. What varies as well is what the giveaways would look like.

Recently, we noticed that there have been swag bags that include simple yet useful fashion items. You can still use them after the party when you’re grocery shopping, swimming, or when you’re just chilling at home. If you’re planning to throw a bachelorette party for yourself or your friend/s, take note of these picks inspired by our local celebrities.

Canvas bag

Anne Curtis had customized drawstring bags to hold various part favors like a pink shot glass, Blk Cosmetics lipsticks, and Klean Kanteen water jugs. The bag is a canvas fabric with Anne’s face sketched in front. If you want something similar that you can personalize, you can check Earth Bags, a brand that carries various canvas bags and pouches.

Shop: Medium Canvas Drawstring Backpack. Available via their Facebook page.

Silky eye masks

Martine Cajucom has been dropping hints on her wedding planning for the past few months. Her latest update was for her upcoming bachelorette party and she has some fancy giveaways for her bridesmaids. These include Instax cameras and films, personalized Corkcicle canteens, and silk eye masks from Morgan Lane. The bridesmaids will get eyelash-printed eye masks while Martine’s has a cartoon-style drawing of a “Just married” car.

Shop: Breakfast at Tiffany’s x Violet Grey Mask. Available on Orchard Mile.

Straw hats

There were a number of bachelorette parties held at destination spots, mostly beach resorts. Isabelle Daza was one of them. For #Bellechorette, her bridesmaids got personalized bodysuits and, our favorite, straw hats with their names stitched on the wide brim. This is the perfect accessory and souvenir for their Bali trip.

Shop: Weekend by Project Fifteen Custom Hat. Available online.

Swim-ready

Another idea for beach party giveaway are one-piece swimsuits with fun text in front. Coleen Garcia did just that for her Hawaiian getaway with her close friends. Her entourage got “SQUAD” swimsuits while Coleen wore the “BRIDE” one. Get the exact pieces from Swim by Eve which allows you to put your own text or monogram on your chosen swimsuits, be it bikinis or a one-piece.

Shop: Swim by Eve Moss Bodysuit. Available online.

Quirky headbands

Maxene Magalona opted for an intimate bachelorette staycation with her BFFs. What stood out from the celebrate were the colorful headbands that her guests wore. They ranged from cat ears and unicorn horns, which adds more fun to the carefree sleepover theme. For a mature-looking option, you can add this black lace cat ears headband to the swag bag.

Shop: Forever 21 Cat Ear Lace Headband. Available at SM Makati.

Bonus: Nifty camera

Instead of just using your phones, give your bridesmaids a disposable camera to document the party or the trip. That way, you’ll have physical copies of your photos that you and your friends can frame and hang on your walls.

Shop: Fujicolor QuickSnap Superia. Available at select Camerahaus branches.
