Step up your monochromatic dressing with unconventional colors

There’s something about monochromatic dressing that has caught my attention lately, and it’s not just the all black or white looks. I’ve been seeing celebrities wear monochromatic looks in unexpected colors, and I am living for it. So much so that I wore an all-pink outfit for Mean Girls day, complete with pink locks. There’s something about wearing one color from head to toe that not only looks put together but quite chic as well. You can even mix it up by playing around with different shades. Here are some celebrities who experimented with unconventional colors

Highlighter green

Anything neon-colored might be intimidating for some, but not Blake Lively. During an event for her new film A Simple Favor, she wore a monochromatic look in highlighter green. It consisted of a knit top, trousers, and coat. As if that weren’t enough, her accessories had hints of green too. See? Formal outfits don’t have to be boring.

Fierce red

It’s no secret that Martine Ho is a fan of color, so of course she rocks monochromatic outfits. During the Sunnies Face party, she decided to go for a fiery red ensemble. She had on a sheer two-piece set and paired it with a clear jelly pouch in the same color, of course.

Oh, orange

Kylie Jenner must be a fan of orange because she has posted several photos in all-orange outfits. Here is one that she posted, which is equal parts sexy and fun. She wore a bodycon dress, heels, and purse in a vibrant orange shade. Yup she could definitely stop traffic in that.

Blushed

If you want something more subtle but a step up from white, try wearing a muted pink shade. While in Australia, that’s what Coleen Garcia chose to wear. She had on a coat, bag, trousers, and corset top in a blush pink color. BRB, as I try to recreate this look.

Bonus: Head to toe print

Leave it to Riri to wear something this bold. Wearing just one color isn’t enough, she decided to wear an outfit featuring snake print. And, yes, she was literally dressed head to toe in it, from her hat to the dress, and shoes.
