The so-called “hippie print” which became popular in the ‘60s and ‘70s is back, and it’s not how you remember it. At New York Fashion Week, labels such as Stella McCartney, Prabal Gurung, Eckhaus Latta, and R13, all made a case for the psychedelic print’s comeback. Giving a chic makeover to the trend, the colorful print was seen everywhere, from socks and skirts, to trenches and blazers.
Just in time for summer too, you can give your wardrobe a trendy upgrade by copping these pieces.
Mango satin dress
Mango’s take on the tie dye print definitely elevates it to chic and modern. A number that can take you from day to night, the satin dress with lace panels and straight silhouette is sleek, but the tie-dye adds playfulness to it. Available at Power Plant Mall.
