Remember Jennifer Lopez’ green Versace dress during the 2000 Grammy Awards? It was so iconic that it apparently helped with the development of Google Images. But now, it’s become even more iconic because Donatella Versace gave it a 2019 update.
Jennifer closed Versace’s 20th anniversary show at Milan Fashion Week. Before coming out, Donatella’s voice filled the room and asked Alexa to show her the Grammy dress. After flashing it on screen, the designer said she wanted to see the real thing. Lo and behold, the singer-actress came out in a dress with cutout details on the sides, backless, and with a flowy train.
Who knew that a dress from almost 20 years ago would still look fresh today?
