Now here’s a squad you didn’t expect: Cardi B, Lili Reinhart, Constance Wu, and J. Lo.
According to Elle, they will star in Hustlers, a “revenge tale about strip-club employees who join forces against the Wall Street guys who are their clients.” Written and directed by Lorene Scafaria, the film is actually inspired by a 2016 New York Magazine article.
Hustlers is also notable because it marks Cardi B’s Hollywood debut. It may be her first time acting for the big screen, but we’re sure she has plenty of insights, as she has worked as a stripper before, something she’s always been vocal about. Although, there are no official announcements yet about her role in the film. The same goes for Lili, Constance, and J. Lo.
Joining them are other amazing actresses like Keke Palmer, Julia Stiles, and Mercedes Ruehl.
While details are still limited, the stellar cast composed of wonderful women, and the fact that it’s written and directed by a great female director (Her works include Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist and Seeking a Friend for the End of the World) give us high hopes for Hustler.
