The Crazy Rich Asians cast are celebrating the premiere of their movie over at Hollywood and our eyes are glued at the red—or rather, jade carpet looks. And based on their fashion choices, it seemed like the stars channeled their characters. If you don’t believe us, here’s a quick roundup.

Constance Wu

Lead star Constance Wu (Rachel Chu) arrived in a crystal-embellished Ralph and Russo SS18 Couture gown. It’s a tube design with fringes hanging off the shoulders. She accessorized it with diamond drop earrings and hairstylist Derek Yuen kept Constance’s hair sleek and straight to make the gown stand out even more.

Henry Golding

Looks like someone took notes from Nick Young. Henry Golding sported a powder blue coat and a bow tie. Dapper and dashing—that’s all.

Kris Aquino

Playing Princess Intan is no other than Kris Aquino, who wore a yellow modern Filipiniana gown by Michael Leyva. The piece has an off-shoulder detail and a ribbon tied around the waist. Kris accessorized it with jewelry from Diagold and a minaudiere with “LOVE” printed on the front.

Sonoya Mizuno

Sonoya Mizuno plays the Singaporean fashion icon Araminta Lee. She wore a strapless gown with a long ruffled skirt. She kept it minimal and didn’t wear any jewelry. But that bold red lip and pixie cut definitely completed the look.

Michelle Yeoh

Michelle Yeoh (Eleanor Young) shimmered in a dark purple and black strapless gown. Her jewelry consisted of a diamond necklace and chunky bangles on each wrist.

Gemma Chan

Gemma Chan (Astrid Teo) opted for a sequined Oscar De La Renta dress. It’s silver and gold with swirl details on the body. She also carried a jade green purse to match the carpet.

Akwafina

Actress-rapper Akwafina (Peik Lin) went for a rose gold long-sleeved gown by Reem Acra. It has a metallic sheen to it and a crimson bow at the back. Before going to the premiere, Akwafina shared on Instagram Stories the pink jewelry pieces she had as options. She also showed that she drove there in style as she rode a Ferrari.

Fiona Xie

It’s all about pleats with Fiona Xie’s (Kitty Pong) black gown complete with a train. Completing the look were a diamond necklace and earrings, and a pair of platform heels. Oh, and she also shared a moment with Kris Aquino on her Instagram Stories.

Nico Santos

Fellow Filipino actor Nico Santos (Oliver T’sien) added a Philippine flag pin on his tuxedo lapel to show some love to his home country.

Harry Shum Jr.

Former Glee star Harry Shum Jr. (Charlie Wu) went for an all-beige suit and paired it with a polka-dotted tie. One comment, though: He should’ve picked a different tie. Other than that, he’s all good.

Kevin Kwan

The man who started it all, Crazy Rich Asians author Kevin Kwan made sure he was dressed for the fancy occasion. He had on a customized embellished coat by Etro. If you take a closer look, you’ll see flowers on his sleeves, too.

Jon M. Chu

Director Jon M. Chu arrived in a maroon suit and kept his inner shirt open a bit for that laidback-rich-guy look. Oh, and he arrived in a convertible. Fancy.

Amy Cheng

A post shared by amyjcheng (@amyjcheng) on Aug 7, 2018 at 7:25pm PDT

Amy Cheng, who’ll play an heiress’ mother, brought had an old Hollywood feel to her look. She wore a cream strapless gown with embroideries and a flowy skirt. She even joked that she hopes her gown would stay up during the event. Amy’s hair was also curled and swept to the side, and she rocked a red lip.

Kheng Hua

Kheng Hua plays Rachel’s mom and she wore pieces from Asian designers. Her dress was by Thomas Wee, and her colorful cable earrings and aluminum-made ring were by Singapore-based brand theKANG.
