What you need to know about the pastel Air Force 1 Shadow

After its debut release for holiday 2019, the Nike Air Force 1 Shadow has quickly become a crowd favorite. The latest colorway features pastel shades and different materials like matte plastic and patent leather. The perfect shoe to ring in the new year, it has a 2020 logo embossed on the heel.

While visiting the Nike campus last year, I was able to see the first versions of the Air Force 1 Shadow that were going to drop. senior product line Manager for Nike sportswear team Lucy Bower also gave us some insight into the new shoe. “It’s going to bring something totally fresh and something new for all female consumers,” Bower shared. “I think my favorite thing about this shoe is that it’s really playful and it’s all about these different pieces. Each different piece can have a different color, you can take many different materials.” When asked about how the customers play a role in the design process she said, “This Shadow, I think, is very much about how do we—people who really want to be super expressive with their style, people who are playful, people who want to give with an edge to their product.”

Now that you have a little more information on what the shoe is about, will you be copping this pair? For the record, I’m definitely considering it.
