NikkieTutorials knows who her blackmailer is, but won’t expose him

Two weeks after publishing her coming out video, NikkieTutorials finally uploaded a new video to give everyone an update. This includes answering the question about who her blackmailer is.

“With the help of police, we have found out who exactly was blackmailing me,” Nikkie said in her video titled “Responding to Coming Out.” “I have their names, their phone numbers, email addresses, I even know where they live and how they treated around me to get information on my true story.”

The beauty vlogger clarified that she doesn’t know the blackmailer personally and that she won’t reveal his name because she doesn’t want to publicly destroy his life. She also told fans to stop making accusations against people who aren’t involved.

When Nikkie came out as transgender, she said that someone was trying to out her and that she’s taking the power back. Many fans have speculated that the blackmailer was Dani California aka Lisa Balandino, sister of Too Faced co-founder Jerrod Balandino because she accused Nikkie of lying about being transgender.

“Transgender, huh? That’s not the only thing she’s been LYING about,” California’s Instagram bio read. After being called out by fans, she changed it to “Lets be clear, I love trans people [and] dislike anyone who lies to hurt others! Period!”

California was later fired from Too Faced for her transphobic statements. Balandino also apologized to Nikkie for the incident.

Nikkie and Too Faced had a sour working relationship after collaborating on the Power of Makeup palette. The former allegedly only got $50,000 from a flat fee, but Too Faced sold at least $8 million worth of palettes. There were also complaints that the palettes were of subpar quality.

Now that Nikkie has cleared the air, she said finding out who her blackmailer was frightening and freeing. “It’s frightening because you know someone is out there so evil to be able to do this and to out someone when it should never be anyone’s place to out someone,” she said.
“It’s also freeing because now that I know who exactly did this, I can keep an eye out.”

Nikkie also encouraged other people who are being blackmailed to seek help from authorities so they can keep an eye out and ensure their safety too.
