Art, Music, and Fashion Come Together in This Southern Weekend Festival

This weekend, head south to witness how art, music, and fashion collide.

Commercenter Alabang presents Southside Collective, a two-day mini-festival at the mall’s Activity Center. The festival will feature work from both established and up-and-coming artists in the country.

Independent Filipino publishing house Meganon Comics, which aims to create a sustainable local comics community, joins the event alongsideRadioactive Mushrooms in the Forest, a duo behind the multisensory projects that transport people into different plans–real and imagined.

On the fashion side, fashion designer Gian Romano headlines the festival with underground  fashion labels Slave of Liberty, Randolf, and Salad Day, to name a few. All guests will get to enjoy these exhibits as they listen to the beats of The Sunset Sessions, The Strange Creatures, and DJ Carlo Atendido.

“It’s a great way to bring people together through a great mix of creative experiences,” says Commercenter Alabang’s VP for Marketing Lesilie Tagle-Dinglasan. “If you appreciate the different expressions of passion–be it art, music, or fashion– then I invite you to drop by The Southside Collective.”

Southside Collective will be open on July 18 and 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Commercenter Alabang. Entrance is free of charge. For inquiries, send an e-mail to southsidecollectiveph@gmail.com or visit the mall’s Facebook page.
