This local beauty brand is releasing velvety lipsticks

Heads up: Local makeup brand Strokes Beauty Lab has released their first lipstick collection. Called velvet click sticks, each lippie is velvety and lightweight with a “pigmented matte finish.” They’re encased in sticks that looks similar to Colourpop’s lippie stix, so hopefully they’ll be just as easy to use.

There are nine shades in total, and the brand’s accepting preorders on their website. If you want to try your luck, they’re holding a giveaway for a lipstick bundle on their Instagram page right now that’ll end on Wednesday, Nov. 25.

ICYDK, Strokes is a new makeup brand that launched just this year with an array of eye products, particularly eyeliners and brow mascaras, pencils and pomades. Celebrity makeup artist Momoi Supe is behind the brand which bears a similar name to his iconic beauty studio, Strokes by Momoi Supe. As an eyebrow specialist, Supe is most known for innovative eye beauty services—he even has its own offshoot studio dedicated to it called the Strokes Eye Beauty Studio, the only eye beauty studio in the country. No wonder the brand released eye and brow products first before the lippies, instead of the other way around.

Honestly, we can’t wait to get our hands on the click sticks.
