Channel your inner scream queen at these 4 Halloween weekend events

Halloween is right around the corner. Naturally, so is the thrill of dressing up in creative costumes for the spooky season—take it from Halloween icon herself, Heidi Klum.

When was the last time you got out of the house as a completely different person and showed up somewhere exciting to combat the survival mode rot? Have those hangouts and gimmicks with friends left the group chat yet? There are only two months left until the new year. It’s time to make the last quarter of 2023 count before you reset your routines and goals.

From drag shows to horror movie marathons and local music gigs, there’s a Halloween-themed event for everyone to look forward to this October. No matter the location or time of day, these four certified fright fests across the metro are guaranteed common grounds for your hobbies and interests.

After the success of CHURCH V: Immaculada last September, Paulo Castro and Xtina Superstar are throwing a Halloween party complete with costumes, DJ sets, and drag performances. The party’s teaser is a nod to the bloodiest scenes in old- and new-school horror movies, making Bloodbath Inferno Church’s most ambitious and daring project yet.

Thriller Night: A Soupstar Halloween Party

It’s not a Halloween party in Metro Manila without live music. This rings true for Thriller Night, an OPM gig with a star-studded lineup of local rock bands. Among the performers are 6cyclemind, Gracenote, Moonstar88, Imago, and Pedicab, to name a few. Prepare to rock out in your scariest costumes for a chance to win special prizes.
