Watch Out for These 9 Collections this Coming NYFW

There’s only two days left before New York Fashion Week’s spring 2017 shows sweep the headlines again. Based on the show schedules, we spotted a lot of notable collections to watch out for until next week. And in light of fashion month, we’re listing down the ones we’re excited to see.

Yeezy Season 4
Right after his Saint Pablo show at Madison Square Garden, Kanye West is set to open NYFW on the 7th with his Yeezy season 4 collection in collaboration with Adidas. Although Kanye and his team has mostly kept mum about the latest collection, word has it that they’re casting “multiracial women” to walk the runway. Seems like he’s taking cues from the CFDA’s notice to make the shows more diverse.

Tom Ford

Tom Ford has been dropping several countdown teasers for their fall/winter 2016 showcase at NYFW. By the looks of the short videos, we’re expecting shimmery and sequined ensembles for the women, and polished blazers for the men.

Marchesa

A must-see for all the bride-to-be’s, Marchesa will be showing their latest bridal collection this week. People are also encouraged to stop by the Annika Bridal Boutique and Chernaya Bridal House to get first dibs on the SS17 gowns.

Monique Lhuillier

Another bridal collection to look out for is Monique Lhuillier. She’s been posting BTS shots of her creative process the past few days, and it looks like she’s playing around with sheer fabric and intricate details.

Proenza Schouler

For this season, Proenza Schouler is planning to create looks by “fitting fabric through the use of lacing, wrapping and tying instead of more typical construction.” So far, we’re seeing lots of criss-cross details, ribbons, and long vest-like tops.

Victoria Beckham

The models of Victoria Beckham’s spring 2017 outing collection will also wear makeup from her newest line with Estée Lauder. This will be the makeup collection’s runway debut before it officially launches on Sept. 13 in the US and UK.

Zac Posen

A close-up shot of one of Zac Posen’s gowns tells us that he might highlight drapes, ruffled trains, and corset details.

Misha Collection

The people behind Misha Collection look like they’re hard at work to meticulously stitch and embroider unique designs for NYFW. It’s not clear yet what they’re creating exactly, but we’re guessing it’s something floral-related based on the rose photo on their Instagram.

Tommy Hilfiger

Patrons will get the chance to see Gigi Hadid’s complete capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger on NYFW. In case you haven’t seen it yet, expect preppy, sporty, and cool pieces down the runway.
