That One Chanel Shoe Sarah Lahbati and Aimee Song Love

Fashion Week is in full swing and I am sure you’re getting a lot of trend updates for the coming seasons.

But we are sometimes all about the right here and right now. If you’re itching to know what you piece you can invest on, try the Chanel Slingback Two-Toned Pumps. Introduced by Coco Chanel in 1957, the shoe made a comeback in the fall ’15 collection of Karl Lagerfeld for the luxury brand.

Bloggers like Nicole Warne and Leandra Medine were quick to cop the pair, once considered a grandma shoe.

Aimee Song couldn’t get enough of the style that she even wore the high-heel version for NYFW.

Locally,  personalities like Sarah Lahbati, Kim Jones, Georgina Wilson, and Patricia Prieto nabbed a pair for themselves.

Why is it such a hot commodity? Perhaps how the nude tone lengthens the legs or how the two-tone color is very much reminiscent of the brand. The black toe-accent on the other hand commands a formal feel even with just a casual ensemble. It’s made of lizard and gross-grain and comes in 0.88 heel and 2.8 mm heel versions.
