The Philippines’ Your Local Is One of the World’s Best Restaurants

The people who eat, travel, and even cook for a living have spoken as Condé Nast Traveler released their list of the World’s Best Restaurants just a few hours ago. And guess what? Your Local made it to the list as the go-to restaurant when dining in the Philippines.

It comes as no surprise because Your Local has been drawing crowds to their spot in Esteban Street ever since, may it be to have some of their Laksa Fettuccini, Torched Salmon Donburi, Lamb Rendang, Chorizo Sandwich, or even my personal favorite, the Beef Rendang Buns. Magazine editor Ashley Halpern can’t get over the Pomelo Salad. “I still dream of the pomelo salad with shrimp, winged beans, wild rocket, yuzu, nim jim, pickled quail eggs, and Thai coconut ‘ice cream,’” she wrote.

Some of the other restaurants listed are Rōnin in Hong Kong, Noma in Copenhagen, Roscioli in Rome, Eleven Madison Park in Manhattan, and also Jimbocho Den in Tokyo. If you wish to browse through all of them, feel free to visit the website.

Get ready for the influx of reservations starting today, Your Local. And of course, congratulations!
