A Fountain of Wine Is Now Real and It’s Free

Our vacation plans to Europe definitely have to include a pitstop in Italy. The Dora Sarchese Vineyard, found in the Abruzzo region, opened to the public a free wine fountain that serves up red wine for 24 hours.

The town where the fountain can be found is already a popular tourist spot for pilgrims as it is where the remains of the disciple Thomas lies. So the wine fountain isn’t for the people out to get wasted but to be part of that journey. A little refresher, if you will, as you make you way to Cammino di San Tommaso, 150 miles west of Rome.

So far, the attraction has proven to be a social media favorite and does heighten the experience.
