The well-loved first lady Michelle Obama lands her third Vogue cover as she fronts the Dec. 2016 issue, just in time for her (saaad!) departure from the White House. FLOTUS was photographed by Annie Leibovitz in the place they called home for eight years.
During her cover interview, Michelle talked about her fashion choices all through the years and how she always kept in mind the next generation—even down to the effect of the dresses and outfits she picked out. She shared about the roles that she chose to work on and eventually even earning the role of “Mom-in-Chief.” Truly an amazing and inspiring woman to have ever graced the White House.
During her cover shoot, she wore pieces by Carolina Herrera and Atelier Versace with Tonne Goodman as her stylist.
Sigh, we will forever miss seeing Michelle Obama as the first lady of the United States. But as Fashionista mentioned, maybe let’s root for Mobama 2020?
