What’s the Story Behind Kendall Jenner’s Huge Snake Butt Tattoo?

Kendall Jenner might have freaked some people out (including me) with her huge butt tattoo on V Magazine‘s latest cover. But there’s more meaning behind this than just being a mere shock factor. And yes, the tattoo’s fake.

Shot by Mario Testino, Kendall is sporting a smokey eye and a thong while showing off a massive snake tattoo. V Magazine says the issue mainly focuses on “the eternalness of tattoos in an industry known for constant change. Also, highlighting one’s rebellious decisions, and we know Kendall has a lot of them. (Example: her nipple piercing.)

Kendall also gushes about Rihanna with V Magazine and how she’s the “queen of rebels.” “She manages to pull everything off. She can do no wrong!” she says.

Aside from Kendall, V Magazine also features five other models: Joan Smalls, Lara Stone, Carolyn Murphy, Amber Valletta, and Lily Aldridge―all sporting fake tattoos as well.

But what about the tattoo choice? Is there a story behind the snake? Neither Kendall nor the magazine divulged much about it, but some are saying that it’s connected to the snake emoji—the emoji that was all over Taylor Swift’s Instagram comments section during the “Famous” feud.

We don’t know about you but the tattoo looks good and bolder than Kendall’s tiny and subtle ones. But what do you think? Should she consider getting something similar in the future?
