Watch: Isabelle Daza’s Five Stages of Working Out

If you’ve ever been hard on yourself for being a diva while working out, (“My sweatpants don’t match my shirt,” “My shoes don’t have enough padding,” “I didn’t sleep well last night”) then you’re not alone. Isabelle Daza knows how it’s like.

In the minute long video, Isabelle illustrates the five stages of working out with friends Anne Curtis and Solenn Heussaff. These are: Delaying Tactics, Bargaining, Anger, Hate Your Life, and Finish Strong. The first two are when you find ways to make your exercise routine easier, the third is when you questions yourself for choosing to work out, the fourth is when you are about to give up before you decide to just get it over with. The faces of these girls in the video will say it all.

The takeaway? At least now you know that it’s normal to act that way and finding motivation does take some effort. Now that you’ve watched the video and read this, it’s time to get your butt moving!
