Whenever you ask yourself what a certain celebrity would smell like, they magically come out with their own scent. Well, not really, but I’d like to think that’s how their brainstorm meetings go.
The latest celebrity to release a fragrance is Kim Kardashian under her brand KKW Beauty. According to Vogue, it might contain red rose notes and will come in a crystal quartz bottle. This news also got me curious of the other local and international personalities who have their own scents. Plus, how each of them put their personal touch into each bottle.
Kim Kardashian
Contrary to what you may think, this KKW Beauty fragrance is not Kim’s first scent. In 2009, she released a women’s perfume with top notes of honeysuckle, orange blossom, and mandarin. It’s described as “A modern fragrance for the modern woman. A beautiful blend of feminine and sensual notes.” It’s also said to reflect Kim’s personality and style.
Ariana Grande
Ariana has already released two fragrances. The first one, ARI, is a mix of fruity and floral scents with “an addictive hint of marshmallow.” While the second one, Frankie, is a gender-inclusive perfume which combines sugar crystals and sandalwood. It’s also inspired by her older brother Frankie Grande. Both come in a round crystal bottle with pom poms.
Georgina Wilson
Before #BabyBurnand and the It Girls franchise, Georgina collaborated with Bench in 2013 for her scent Oh My George! According to Bench’s site, this has notes of berries, mandarin, sandalwood, and creamy musk. “It’s a fresh fruity-floral fragrance that revives the mind and the senses. It is young and romantic but without the recklessness of the youth as it takes after the smarts of its creator.”
Rihanna
Rihanna comes out with perfumes as much as she releases albums. So far, she’s released a total of eight, the latest being Crush. It’s said to have a sweet-spicy scent with hints of pink peppercorn, ylang-ylang, and pink rose.
Paris Hilton
Out of Paris’ many scents, Paris Hilton proves to be a favorite among many. One spray and you’ll smell hints of jasmine, peach nectar, freesia, and oak moss. To quote the famous heiress, “That’s hot.”
Solenn Heussaff
Last year, Solenn came out with her three-scent collection Sos. These came in small spray bottles, making it convenient to throw in your purse. Each varied from floral (Sunrise), musky (Sunshine), and fruity (Sunset) scents to go with specific occasions.
Katy Perry
Katy’s Killer Queen perfume is described as “a charmingly playful yet lethally gorgeous floriental fragrance.” It has top notes of wild berry, dark plum, and bergamot. This strong fragrance comes in an equally fierce red bottle that’s shaped like a deadly weapon.
Bea Alonzo
A few years ago, Bea partnered with local brand Kashieca to create her Beautiful Soul fragrance line. This consisted of two body sprays which have fruit-based scents.
Nadine Lustre
Nadine teased Luster last February but has yet to announce a launch date. If the sexy photos are any indication, we’re guessing the scent will either have a sensual or musky note to it.
