What the ‘Stranger Things’ Kids Did Before Season 2 Premiered

Are you ready to binge-watch Stranger Things 2 tonight? We are and we’re probably going to lose sleep because of it. No Demogorgon nightmares, please!

Since the first season, the show gained a cult following. Halloween parties and cosplay conventions were filled with Eleven costumes. I even got to experience the Upside Down (not real, of course) during Asia Pop Comic Con 2017.

Not only that, Stranger Things also propelled the careers of the young protagonists. In between shooting the second season, the kids made several red carpet appearances and fronted magazine covers. Before we start our all-night binging, here’s what they achieved so far at their young age.

Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven)

Millie is only 13 but she’s already nabbed a Converse endorsement, modeled for Calvin Klein’s campaign,  and looked edgy AF on the cover of Interview. She’s also a red carpet regular, wearing Jenny Packham at the 2017 Golden Globes and a Calvin Klein ball gown during the 2017 Emmy’s. Millie continues to impress with her chic fashion choices at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund show.

Finn Wolfhard (Mike)

This young Ezra Miller lookalike recently starred in the 2017 version of IT and also snagged a feature on i-D and Paper Magazine. He was also recently cast in the upcoming sci-fi film Dog Days. When he’s not busy, he also shares his Spotify playlist, play Dungeons & Dragons, and sings for his band Calpurnia.

Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin)

If you saw Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish” video, you’ll see Gaten playing basketball with her there. Last year, he also spoke up about suffering from cleidocranial dysplasia, which is a genetic disorder that affects the development of his bones and teeth.

Noah Schnapp (Will)

When Noah traveled to Manila for Asia Pop Comic Con last August, fans went crazy for him. It’s also the same reaction when he appeared on Panic! At the Disco’s “LA Devotee” music video. He was also on the cover of DisorderL’Officiel Hommes, and has a “get ready” feature on Coveteur.

Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas)

Caleb is probably one of the most low-key among all the kids, aside from showing up at red carpet events with the cast. But he got features from WiredRolling Stone, and showed off his singing chops on Entertainment Weekly’s podcast.
