Victoria Beckham Gets Into Athleisure as She Collaborates with Reebok

Just when I thought fashion collaborations were not my thing (I let Fenty x PUMA and Off-White x Nike pass), here’s something that’s got my blood rushing to my head in excitement. Victoria Beckham announced on Instagram that she is set to have a long-term collaboration with Reebok. And damn, I might just fall in line for this!

There’s no sneak peek since she just spent her first day with Reebok, but they’ve let us in on their driving force to collaborate with each other. “As a brand, we look to partner with not just influential women, but women who want to truly change the world,” Reebok’s senior vice president of Women’s Initiatives, Corinna Werkle, said in a press release. “There’s no better embodiment of this than Victoria. She is a true visionary who possesses a relentless desire to help women become the best version of themselves. This desire shines through in everything she touches, especially her designs, which continue to push industry standards season after season. We cannot wait for the world to see what she will do with our collaboration.” She could not have said that better!

Victoria, on the other hand, is not just excited to partner with a brand that she shares values with, but to also push boundaries when it comes to athleisure. “To have the opportunity to challenge the traditional notions of fitness wear within a fashion context is something I have always wanted to do,” she said. “I have long incorporated sportswear into my wardrobe and daily life and I am thrilled to be coming together with Reebok on such a dynamic proposition.”

The collection is set to roll out in 2018, but for now, watch this space because we’ll surely update you. And maybe you can cop her collab with Estée Lauder first while you wait for this.
