Last night, Nov. 11, the 7th annual Philippine Fashion Ball took place at private member’s club Manila House in BGC. Top fashion influencers, models, designers, and celebrities like Asia’s Next Top Model season 5 winner Maureen Wroblewitz and beauty queen Kylie Verzosa flocked to the venue in their best “wacky, weird, wonderful” outfits, for a night that highlighted the most “Lit” young millennials of the fashion industry.
At the head of the pack were “Lit Designer” awardees: Jenni Contreras, RJ Santos, and Jaggy Glarino, for internationally paving the way for future designers when they showcased their spring/summer 2018 collections last Oct. at this year’s Amazon Fashion Week. And since the night was for the millennials, it was only fitting that the audience was filled with celebrity spawns.
One of two winners of best dressed—the others being PMAP models Hannah Locsin, Jach Manere, Lou Yanong, Kenn Bosch, and Jullian Culas in Daryl Maat—Ces Drilon’s son style icon Andre Drilon in Jaggy Glarino was present, as well as Jericho Rosales’ son PMAP model Santino Rosales, Melanie Marquez’s daughter model Michelle Dee, Marina Benipayo’s son model and athlete Joshua de Sequera, and Anthony Pangalinan’s kids Hannah and Donny. To top it all off, John Estrada’s daughter (aka our favorite!) influencer Kaila Estrada was there too.
After the awarding ceremony and the yummy four-course dinner, we ended the night with a lively after party fueled with champagne and good music. Just the appropriate celebration for all the awardees, including HIP’s own Scout Magazine.
