When you think of Pat McGrath, you’ll think of her as a makeup artist with all-out lip kits and great matte lipsticks. But now, Pat is delving into fashion with her very first streetwear line.
Pat shared a teaser on Instagram featuring a black jacket with gold text and what looks like a winged eye. Aptly tagged #PMGApparel001, it will feature eight pieces and will be available on the Pat McGrath Labs website and Dover Street Market in New York.
Model Kaia Gerber and Louis Vuitton’s Nicolas Ghesquière also showed off the same jacket in short campaign videos.
According to Fashionista, the capsule collection will include a bomber jacket, short and long-sleeved T-shirts, and a hoodie. All of them will come in black and white, with gold and blue designs.
“I wanted to create a new, unisex way for people to love Labs without using cosmetics,” Pat tells Vogue. “From the moment I first launched Gold 001 in Fall 2015, I’ve dreamt of creating clothing that captures the codes of Labs’ divinely disruptive cosmetic collections.” She added that the collection was influenced by Japanese culture and the London night life.
The collection will only be on sale from Dec. 7 to 13, with prices ranging from $60 to $400. If you want to rep your favorite luxury beauty brand, be ready to shell out some serious bucks.
