Singer Moira Dela Torre Is the Fifth Most-Played Female Artist of 2017

It’s that time of the year again wherein Spotify exposes which songs you’ve been playing on repeat. Several people have been sharing their “2017 Wrapped” report on social media, and it’s interesting to see their top artists and songs. Meanwhile, Spotify Philippines also created a playlist featuring the top 20 female artists of 2017, and it includes local singers Moira Dela Torre, Sarah Geronimo, and Juris.

Moira’s song “Malaya” from the movie Camp Sawi landed on the fifth spot. As of writing, the song was played over 33 million times since its release. We’re willing to bet that people also teared up like Vice Ganda while listening to the song.

On the other hand, Sarah’s “Maybe This Time” and Juris’ “Your Love” are on the ninth and tenth spots, respectively.

Taylor Swift topped the list with “Shake It Off.” (Yay for old Taylor!) Other artists include Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Hailee Steinfeld, Selena Gomez, and more.

If you want to put the playlist on loop today, check it out below.

Congratulations, ladies!
