Following Edward Enninful’s first issue as editor-in-chief of British Vogue, the second cover girl is revealed. The new Taylor Swift will be gracing the cover of the second issue shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot.
According to Vogue, the singer wore a red Saint Laurent dress by Anthony Vaccarello. She also donned darker and sultrier makeup as seen in her Reputation music videos. The 12-page shoot was styled by Edward showing “Taylor remade” and “#NewVogue’s exciting year ahead.”
What did the new EIC have to say about the shoot? “For me, the chance to help transform America’s most fascinating sweetheart was a joy. As we took the pop icon on an epic fashion journey with photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, what struck me most about Taylor was her brilliant sense of humor, but also how, for a woman in her twenties, she has an incredible sense of who she is.”
It seems like people just can’t get enough of Taylor and her new reputation.
