If you’ve been a fan of the ugly-pretty shoes, there’s a new pair taking over the fashion world, “dad sneakers.” These look just like the ones your dads probably wore back in the ’90s. They have chunky soles, sometimes bright colors, and they look like they wouldn’t really match anything. Almost everyone, however, has been finding new ways to style it.
Bella Hadid wore a pair to the Dior show earlier this week.
Kim Kardashian also posted a photo of the latest Yeezys Mud Rat 500.
The most popular brand to release the dad sneakers is Balenciaga with their Triple S sneakers. They come in different color combinations and have an already distressed look to them.
Chanel got it on the trend too with their spring/summer 2018 trainers. They’re made of lambskin and suede calfskin that come in different colors. You can also pick between high tops or low top.
As part of their cruise 2018 collection, Gucci dropped their own rendition with their logo plastered on the side.
Acne studios got in on the action with a gray and black pair that has a sculpted rubber sole.
