Moira Dela Torre released her new song “Tagpuan” the other day and it’s an absolute #feels fest. If tears are already welling up while listening to the song, wait till you find out who inspired this song.
In an Instagram post, Moira shared the story behind “Tagpuan.” “I wrote this song when I learned that waiting was never a bad thing; that there is so much hope when you persevere and when you brave through life, trusting that the Lord can make beautiful things out of all the mess we’ve made and/or experienced,” she wrote.

She added that “Tagpuan” is the final song of her latest album “Malaya,” and also gave a special shoutout to boyfriend and fellow musician Jason Marvin. “This one’s for you. I love you.” Of course, fans of Moira (and their “love team” #MoiSon) have sent their love via social media.
“Tagpuan” is also the name of Moira’s first concert happening on Feb. 17 and 18 at the Kia Theater. The song is also available on iTunes and Spotify. Perfect timing too because it’s a rainy day today.
