According to Andrea Brillantes, you can never have too much blush

Andrea Brillantes is one to watch when it comes to makeup. We’ve listed her different key elements before but now, we want to focus on her use of blush. Instead of just applying it on her cheeks, she likes to drag the color to the bridge of her nose. She’s not subtle about it either. If you look at her Instagram account you will see that she uses bold shades of pink, red, and peach.

You might be scared to try this out but you might just get a youthful glow or a drunk blush effect if you do. You can test it out with the hues we’ve listed below.

Nars Blush in 413 BLKR

If you’re looking for the perfect pink blush shade, this might just be the one. It is described as a rich rose color and has a matte finish. The first swipe will be sheer but not to worry because it has buildable coverage. Just pack on the products until you achieve Andrea’s look. Available at Central Square.

Make Up For Ever Sculpting Blush in Indian Pink

For something on the coral side of the spectrum, try this blush. This has a satin finish and is infused with light reflecting pigments that will make your skin glow. Start applying this on the apples of your cheeks and work your way to the bridge of your nose. Available at Greenbelt 5.

Maybelline Fit Me Blush in Rose

Aside from bright pink shades, Andrea sometimes wears something more peachy. This blush is lightweight and will last all day. This is a more natural hue, which will look great on all skin tones. Use a kabuki brush to grab the color and blend it generously on your face. Available at Watsons branches.

theBalm FratBoy Blush

If you want an even darker peach shade, pick up this one from theBalm. It is a matte peachy apricot color that “enhances natural look with rich, bright pigment.” It also contains micro-shimmer so you will look flushed and glowy at the same time. Toss this in your bag for when you need touch ups. Available at Beauty Bar branches.

3CE Duo Color Face Blush in Make Me Blush

If you’re not sure what shade to go for exactly, pick up a duo. This comes with light pink and red shades. You can use them individually or swirl your brush to blend the two. We suggest doing just that to get Andrea’s signature bold blush color. Available on Sephora PH.

Bobbi Brown Blush in Apricot

For an intense red shade, go for Bobbi Brown’s blush in apricot. If you like a more matte look, this will be a great addition to your routine. Aside from the matte finish, it also has a silky consistency and is long-lasting. Available at Rustan’s The Beauty Source.
