Meghan Markle managed to wear a tuxedo without breaking the royal dress code

Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle may not be allowed to wear a tuxedo because of royal protocol, but she did manage to cheat the system. She recently attended the Hamilton performance gala for mental charity organization Sentebale, and was spotted wearing a black tuxedo mini dress.

The piece was by Canadian label Judith and Charles and was accessorized with a gold clutch and Meghan’s signature heels. Her outfit also complemented the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry’s black suit.

So Meghan managed to incorporate her penchant for pantsuits and tuxedoes without breaking any royal dress code. Aside from the fact that showing off her knees in this dress is a rule-breaker, but we’re not really complaining.

We’re excited to see what’s next for Meghan’s outfit choices after this tailored dress.
