Heart Evangelista explains why she did her own hair and makeup at NYFW

Heart Evangelista further proves that she’s ruling New York Fashion Week as she revealed that she did her own hair and makeup during the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party. And she spilled all the details on her Instagram Stories.

Last night, Heart listed down the products she used that night. She kept her base minimal and went for BB cream from Ponds. She then used NARS Orgasm blush on the apples of her cheeks, and Huda Beauty eyeshadow and L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara on the eyes. To create her signature brows, she used K-Palette #2. Lastly, she used a nude Tom Ford lipstick.

Heart later revealed during an Instagram Q&A that she also did her hair, which had simple waves. “I’m spoiled with hair and makeup back home but I also come from a generation of artistas that had no stylist, makeup artist, and hair stylist. So I was trained,” she said. She also gave a shoutout to makeup artist Albert Kurniawan for training her and teased that she has a video coming up—perhaps talking about her whole look.
