Spotted at Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo: Bench/ and more local designers

It’s one thing when you hear that Filipino designers will present their work abroad and it’s another to actually see it unfold. Yesterday, local brand Bench/ along with their Bench/ Design Awards 2018 winners Renz Reyes, Christian Edward Dalogaog (Ched Studio), and Sherwin “Otto” Sacramento (Ottomondi) presented their work on the runway of Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo.

This is actually Bench/’s third year to participate and based on the reception, there are no signs of stopping. Vogue only had positive words for the Filipino designers and even named Renz’s collection as the strongest as it “displayed a nice handwork that felt distinctly, beautifully Pinoy in its essence.”

We’re excited to see more of your designs not just in Manila, but all over the world. Let this be your inspiration on this hump day.
