Your cheat sheet to this season’s Christmas drinks

Christmas is so close, we can taste it. We’re ready to bundle up in a cozy puffer jacket while sipping on this season’s holiday drinks. November has begun, which means coffee shops are starting to switch up their menu with Christmas-appropriate flavors. I’m sure you’ve spotted peppermint and red velvet options on the beverage list. You have many more days to try all the drinks available so here’s a cheat sheet to what you can order on your next coffee run.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

What to order: Ube Ice Blended

To get everyone in the Christmas mood, CBTL has three holiday drinks to choose from. For something that will remind you of your favorite local flavors, order the Ube Ice Blended. This frozen treat comes with swirled whip cream and a drizzle of syrup. Don’t forget to collect stamps too for this year’s journal

Starbucks

What to order: Snowy Cranberry White Mocha

Of course, Starbucks is back with their set of Christmas drinks as well. Crowd favorites Peppermint Mocha and Toffee Nut Crunch Latte are up for grabs. But, if you want to try something new, they have the Snowy Cranberry White Mocha. You can get it hot or as a frappucino, and even order a white chocolate cranberry cookie to go along with it.

Seattle’s Best

What to order: Winter Espresso Cream

Enjoy Seattle’s Best’s breakfast meals with one of their holiday creations. If you need your daily dose of caffeine but want it more on the sweet side, order this one. It’s creamy with hints of caramel and custard.

Tim Hortons

What to order: Ho-Ho Hot Chocolate

Tim Hortons is known for their doughnuts, but they have beverages too. For the holiday season, they have a red velvet chill, and something classic with their hot chocolate. Order a mug of this to go with your sno-glazed doughnuts.

Costa Coffee

What to order: Caramel Crunch Frostino

Sure, the ber months are here but we’re not feeling the chilly weather just yet. Stay cool with one of Costa Coffee’s Frostino. This one has a sweet caramel drizzle and chunks of chocolate.
