Kelsey Merritt’s skincare hacks are out on ‘Vogue’

We’re pretty sure this is Kelsey Merritt’s year. She’s having a moment, and we are 100 percent behind it. She recently walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, making her the first Filipina to do so. Now, she’s even featured in Vogue’s ‘Beauty Secrets’ video. In the clip, she shared beauty hacks, like how she preps her skin by mixing moisturizer and sunscreen, rubbing coconut oil on her body (an ingredient abundant in our country!), and using a damp towel to get rid of chapped lips. Oh, and she extracts gel from her very own aloe plant to keep her scalp and hair healthy.

As she shows us how she does her everyday makeup look—the same one which she said got her a spot in the VSFS runway—she shares how her freckles are her favorite part of her face, so she doesn’t like hiding them. Plus, she reveals a quick and easy hack on how she keeps her “Asian” brows looking great. She also talked about her VSFS experience and how much it meant to her, and her family, friends, and supporters.
