We don’t know what it is with people who use unconventional items to blend their makeup. Condoms? Sure! Hardboiled eggs? Why not! Adding to the list is Camila Mendes’ pancake trick and we don’t know how to feel.
The moment was captured by Cole Sprouse while on the set of Riverdale. Camila was dressed in her Veronica Lodge garb and casually grabbed a pancake from her plate, folded it, and dabbed it on her cheekbones to finesse her highlighter.
Okay, cool. But as breakfast food lovers, all we could think of is “What a waste of a perfectly good pancake!” Thank god though because Camila’s “sponge” didn’t have syrup and butter yet. Still, it was right next to scramble eggs and bacon—unless the oil adds more shimmer to the highlighter. Ew.
As much as this trick is intriguing and unique, we’re not really here for this. But if you’re willing to make a batch of pancakes for your makeup needs, then mix away.
