A cheat sheet to a Christmas potluck dinner

Christmas day is next week and I’m sure all of you have lots of plans till then. Aside from the usual family dinner, there will most likely be other get-togethers to prepare for. Sometimes, the easiest option is a potluck-style dinner. That way, everyone is assigned something to bring, which splits the load equally. Whether you’re thinking of bringing alcohol or dessert, we found easy picks you can order and pick up beforehand.

Three Hens Wine

If you’re in charge of alcohol, wine is always a good choice for dinner. You can bring one red and white option so that everyone can have their pick. The red wine has hints of pepper, spice and mocha while the white is fruity with aromas of apple and peach. Available Rustan’s Supermarkets.

Caviar Pie by M

While everyone waits for dinner to be served, keep everyone satisfied with a caviar pie. Caviar Pie by M has three sizes to choose from depending on how many people you’re expecting. To go with this, you can also bring a selection of crackers, pretzels, and chips. Available on Instagram.

Panaderya Toyo Bread Basket

Bread is always a welcome addition to any potluck table. Personally, I am considering bringing a bread basket filled with fresh loaves to a family dinner. Panaderya Toyo has many to choose from and they can help you customize your selection. Available at The Alley at Karrivin, 2316 Pasong Tamo Extension, Makati City.

M Bakery Cupcakes

Any Christmas feast wouldn’t be complete without sweets. To make things easier for everyone, bring an assortment of cupcakes. That way, there will be a variety of flavors to choose from. M Bakery has a few Christmas specials like Sno-cap, chocolate peppermint, and winter spice cupcakes. Available at Unit 23, 5th Avenue corner 28th Street, One Bonifacio High Street Mall, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

Pimbrera ng Barasoain Filipino Dishes

For something savory, grab some Filipino dishes from Pimbrera. These are already pre-cooked so all you have to do is heat it up. They have adobo flakes, bistek Tagalog, and my personal favorite, kalitiran. Available at 2/F San Antonio Plaza Arcade, 50 McKinley Road, Makati City.
