Everyone has been talking about Catriona Gray’s lava dress but there’s a new one we can obsess over. On Facebook, designer Mak Tumang revealed a third dress that was not worn during the competition. Named the “Perla Oriente,” (translated as “Pearl of the Orient”) it is inspired by “the byname given to our beautiful country.”
He posted sketches of the dress. He also showed close-up shots that showed the detailed beadwork. There were also clips of Catriona posing and walking in the gold and teal creation. What do you think? Should she wear this piece to an upcoming formal event?
