The SS19 haute couture shows have been fun to watch but there’s one that stood out among the rest. Luxury fashion house Viktor&Rolf showed dresses that were avant-garde. Aside from the play on silhouettes, materials, and textures, they also added an extra detail. Each piece had statements written along the front. The photos took the Internet by storm and I’m sure you’ve seen the many, many memes people have made out of them. However, if you take them as is, these dresses are memes on their own. I even found situations where you can use them and the different emotions they bring up.
