Nadine Lustre is the new face of H&M’s sustainable swimwear line

Nadine Lustre just launched her own perfume and now she’s the first Filipina ambassador of H&M Philippines. The brand’s latest campaign is for their newest Conscious line which features swimsuits for the summer. Alexa, play “Summer.”

Inquirer columnist Ria Prieto asked Nadine about her go-to outfits for the season. “First, the clothes have to be comfortable. Summer clothes need to be thin, breathable and light-colored. I really don’t know why, but wearing dark-colored clothes makes you feel hotter,” she said. “Shop for clothes that are easy to wear and to take off. If you have a trip to the beach, you always wanna be ready to swim.”

As for the collection, Nadine says her favorite pieces are the bikinis. “They’re really flattering on my body and I look good with the colors!” She also emphasized how women of every size can wear these pieces. Here’s a shot of her in a dark green number:

Also, based on Nadine’s Instagram post above, the pieces are “#SelectedbyNadine.” Now we’re wondering if she wore one of them on the set of “Summer.”

In case you’re not familiar with H&M Conscious, it’s the brand’s sustainable line. Meaning that many of their pieces are made from recycled materials like plastics found in the sea and even fabrics from old clothing.

The collection will drop on March 14. Will you be copping these pieces that Nadine’s wearing once it does?
