When it comes to moisturizing, your initial reaction might be to reach for lotion or some sort of cream or even a salve. These are all great but they’re not exactly the same. Sure, salves will hydrate your skin and even hair but that’s not all it can do.

Most will be made with an herbal-infused oil.” That being said, salves have topical healing properties. Depending on the mix of ingredients, they can be used for soothing sensitive skin. Our hands and feet can suffer the most because of constant use and washing. Cracked heels are more common than you think. Give them a treat with this eucalyptus scent. These are also antioxidants that target stressed skin, making them more healthy. Available at Rustan’s Supermarket branches.
VMV Hypoallergenics Red Better Calm-The-Heck Down Balm
I have very sensitive skin so I’ve experienced allergic reactions, redness, and flare ups. For those of you who experience the same thing, use this salve from VMV. Neal’s Yard Remedies Comfrey & Mallow Foot Balm
Sometimes, at the end of the day, all I want is a good foot massage. After being stuffed in my cute shoes the whole day, they need a breather too. When your feet get tired, don’t forget to treat them too. Enriched with almond and wheatgerm, it will soften cracked heels. Comfrey, on the other hand, will have a calming effect.
