Versus Barcade
This bar just combined two things I love: video games and cocktails. There are arcade games like pinball, Mario Kart, driving games, and more inside. Versus Barcade also hosts weekly parties and game nights—just check their Facebook page for updates. Or just go tonight to see what’s happening. Personally, I’d love to go to see how competitive my friends would get while intoxicated. Located at G/F Uptown Parade, 9th Avenue, Uptown Bonifacio, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
i Darts DASH
Speaking of competitiveness, i Darts DASH has digital dart boards that will test your team work and your friendship (kidding). The only real question here is if you can hit the bullseye while drinking a glass of craft beer or one of their cocktails. Aside from that, i Darts also has yummy snacks (we heard the Enoki Nest is a must-try) and holds parties featuring local DJs. Located at 4/L, C3 Annex Building, 7th Avenue corner 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
Snaps Sports Bar
Are you and your group of friends sports fans? If you want to go somewhere that’s not too crowded, great lounge seats, and billiard and foosball tables, Snaps is for you. This sports bar shows various local and overseas competitions from basketball to rugby, just check their online schedule to see what’s worth watching. (Tip: You can make a drinking game while you watch with your friends. Just to spruce the night up, you know?) Located at G/F Sofitel Philippine Plaza, CCP Complex, Atang Dela Rama Street, Manila City.
The Boozy Bar
Technically, this isn’t an actual place where you can party. But what’s great about The Boozy Bar is you can buy cocktails while watching the latest movies in Uptown Mall’s VIP cinema. They serve liquor you can find in Boozy.ph and their bar-exclusive cocktails named after Hollywood stars. They even make drinks inspired by the film that’s showing. So if you just want to chill while drinking, this is your place. Located at 3/F Uptown Mall, 36th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
OnBoard Game + Gastro Pub
Board game cafés are great drinking spots as well. OnBoard has a wide selection of games, as well as specialty cocktails and bar chow for groups. Whenever I’m there in the evening, I found that Jenga is popular among those who are drinking. What would you play while tipsy if you were here?
