In honor of Pride Month, Them. posted a brand new episode of their “Drag Me” series. (The last one was two months ago.) This time, it features Queer Eye‘s resident foodie, Antoni Porowski, and Miz Cracker from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10.
The glam process is both entertaining and informative as Miz and Antoni talked about their lives. This included how they celebrate Pride, their coming out stories, and their gender identities.
“By referring to myself as gay, I felt like somehow it wasn’t honoring the relationships and the real love that I had with the women I’ve been in relationships with,” Antoni said. “I think the word I’m most comfortable with is, I guess, ‘fluid.’ And it’s so shocking to me how that surprises people. Call yourself whatever the hell you want to refer to yourself as. It’s not something that should be judged or questioned.”
When it was time to dress up, Miz gave Antoni a proportionizing lesson. Antoni later chose a tri-colored dress that designer Christian Cowen described as “pastel, sort of Powerpuff Girl.” And yes, he had to wear tights and one of Miz’s bras for the full illusion.
The finishing touch was a blonde wig similar to Miz’s signature ‘do. Antoni was so surprised with his look that he was literally speechless. Even we were shocked at how great his makeover turned out.
But then again, this is Miz Cracker—the same drag queen who made YouTube singer Chester See unrecognizable on the show. Ugh, her mind.
Of course, the video didn’t end without Antoni figuring out his drag name, which is Eva Cado. (A play on “avocado” since he always makes guacamole.)
