In case you missed it: Emma Stone will be playing Cruella De Vil in a movie about the “101 Dalmatians” villain. The first official photo, which showed Emma with the iconic black and white hair, was released during the most recent Disney D23 Expo.
“Cruella” is said to be an origin story, most likely showing a time when the titular character wasn’t so Dalmatian-obsessed. That said, Emma was seen filming in London with fire engine red hair and interacting with a character through a shop window.
This only means one thing: Cruella De Vil was a redhead. Can you believe?
Now we’re really curious to see how Cruella went from being a regular Londoner to the villain we know now. Sadly, we have to wait until 2021 to catch the movie. Who’s excited?
