Isabelle Daza wears mom’s Filipiniana to ABS-CBN Ball: “Sustainable is the new vintage.”

The ABS-CBN Ball, is the most glamorous night for all local celebrities under ABS-CBN. Stars paraded the red carpet this weekend in different versions of a modern Filipiniana, from various designers all over the country.

However, one celebrity stood out by wearing a vintage classic—a hand-me-down from her mother. Isabelle Daza chose to wear Gloria Diaz’ Filipiniana from 1994.

“Wore my mom’s Filipiniana which she used to crown Ms. India in 1994, I feel like sustainable is the new vintage,” Isabelle wrote on her Instagram post with the hashtag #WhoWoreItAfter.

The beautiful classic Filipiniana was designed by Pepito Albert.

The internet has been praising Isabelle for her gown choice, commending her for going the sustainable route, “Everyone made a statement, you started a movement. All class, Belle,” Rovilson Fernandez commented.
